On Wednesday we read, "Harold and the Purple Crayon".

We painted with red, blue and purple paint, but I guess I didn't get a picture of that.

We made melted crayon pictures.

We played t-ball.

We did a color matching game.

Some kids built an awesome tower for farm animals.

We played several rounds of Go Fish.

On Thursday we read, "Caps for Sale".
We decorated our own paper caps.

We played basketball.

We estimated then counted monkeys in a jar, then we had races to see who could build a monkey chain the fastest.

On Friday we read, "Those Can-Do Pigs".
We practiced lacing on pigs.

We had races with eggs on spoons.

We painted our own piggy banks.  Jane brought Chinese chocolate gold coins to share and we tried to put them in our piggy banks.  They were too big so we just had to eat them.

We sorted and counted and played with farm animals.

It's been a few weeks since I updated the blog.  The end of one semester and the beginning of another have been really busy for us.

Here are some pictures of the day that we did "The Three Billy Goats Gruff".
We did a goat matching game.

We walked across the "bridge".

We made goats out of cups.

I don't remember what we were doing in these two pictures.

We read "Three Little Kittens" and we washed our mittens in the water table.
We hunted for mittens in the forum.

We read "The Gingerbread Baby".
We made our own gingerbread cookies.
We decorated paper gingerbread babies and the letter G.

Toddlers mixed yellow and red paint with shaving cream in baggies.

We made paper cat faces.

Monday we read "Mrs. McTats and her House Full of Cats".
We counted and sorted cats.

We painted with frozen paint.  We also put alphabet stickers onto a template of the alphabet but I guess I deleted that picture.

We played "I Have a Little Doggy and he Won't Bite You".

Tuesday we read "Pete the Cat and his Four Groovy Buttons".

We sorted buttons.

We did a guessing game with a button under a cup.

We sewed buttons onto plastic mesh.

We put together pictures of Pete the Cat.
