On Wednesday Mrs. Miller's class taught and they were not prepared with a story.

They made white collages.

They played Red Light, Green Light and I'm not sure what they were doing with the colored paper on the floor.

They did a scavenger hunt for white things that had been hidden around the playground.
The toddlers colored with chalk on the sidewalk.

On Thursday we read, "Curious George and the Pet Show".

We played a dog matching game.

We put dogs in order from smallest to largest, then we sorted them by size and counted them.

We played, "I Have a Little Doggie and he Wont' Bite You".

We made dog puppets.

We played with our plastic dogs, sorted them and counted them.

We had dog cut-outs to color and lace.

We practiced our cutting skills.

Our camera has been broken for the past couple of days, so while the kids were doing preschool this morning I ran to the store and got a new one.  I'm not sure what activities they were doing while I was gone.

In the afternoon the kids who weren't napping did some "street" painting.

We also played some "Go Fish".
I just realized that I haven't updated the blog in about a week.  Sorry!

Last Tuesday we read "Curious George Takes a Job".

We did an experiment with water, pepper, and dish soap.

We made Curious George collages.

We talked about the story.

On Wednesday we read, "Curious George Rides a Bike."

We practiced our cutting skills.

We made collages.

We rode our bikes outside of the playground.

I wasn't here on Thursday and I don't know what story Mrs. Miller's student read.

The kids mixed yellow and red paint with shaving cream to make orange.

The toddlers mixed their paint and shaving cream in baggies.

We glued faces on pumpkins to make Jack-O-Lanterns.

They used cookie cutters to cut shapes out of cheese.

On Friday we read "Curious George Flies a Kite".

We mixed blue and yellow paint to make green

We glued stickers to rhombuses, then we taped a string on the bottom point to make a kite.

We hunted for yellow, blue and green kite shapes in the forum then we sorted and counted them.
