On Monday we learned about police officers.

We made headbands with police badges on them.

We talked about a police officer's job.

The toddlers played in the forum.

We learned the nursery rhyme of the Queen of Hearts.

We made puffy paint pictures.

We made crowns. 

On Tuesday we learned about firefighters and we had real-life firefighters come and give us a presentation!

\I have never seen the kids so attentive. 

We learned how to stop, drop and roll to put out a fire. 

We extinguished "flames" in the water table. 

We blew paint with straws so it looked like it was coming out of a fire hose.

On Wednesday we learned about the post office. 

We counted money to buy stamps.

We wrote cards to our friends and put them in the mailbox.

On Friday afternoon we had an awesome time visiting some farm animals.

This morning the kids made police headbands. 

They talked about what a police officer does. 

The toddlers played in the forum. 

Kids did a puffy paint picture. 

They made crowns. 

They did another game out in the hall but I didn't get a picture of it.  Then we had fun playing outside.

It's been two weeks since I posted to the blog, but that doesn't mean we haven't been busy.  In fact, it means that some days I have been too busy to even take pictures.  We do have some pictures, however, and here they are.  My next post will include pictures of the kids with baby farm animals.  They are over there right now!
