What a great day to feed the ducks!

We found a dead fish tied to the tree with some fishing line.  The kids had fun dipping it into the water then pulling it back up. 

The walk back required a lot of rest stops. 

We had a super hectic morning today.  We have small classes on A days and several students were absent today, so we weren't able to go to the park.  Instead, we played with playdough and water.

On Tuesday we read, "Are you an Ant?"

We looked at pictures of different kinds of bugs and compared them.

We colored our own ant hills, then we cut out ants and pasted them onto the hills.

Tori told a story with props. 

Cambree played a butterfly matching game.

On Wednesday Callie had the children estimate plastic bugs in a jar, then we counted them and she recorded their guesses and the correct number. 

We played a bug matching game. 

Kylee taught the children a song, then they colored a beetle picture.
